Our Scent Design & Formula Building online Masterclass is part of International Perfume Foundation curriculum.
This masterclass teaches you the techniques, the organization and the codes of good practice in order to compose a natural perfumery formula in a professional way. You will study with Françoise Rapp everything you need to know, from composition techniques to purely technical skills in weighing, organizing your perfume organ, designing files with all the elements of each natural raw material. This masterclass professionalizes your work and allows you to address production and regulatory units in a serious and professional way.

What you will learn as part

You will receive during the class the following documents :
Note that Excel documents have automated calculation formulas: - Raw material stock sheet (excel) - List of suppliers of professional scales - 2 documents of the 6 steps to follow according to the two methods taught. - 2 formulation calcul tables according to each method - 1 formulation table to communicate to your customers - 1 production process table for the formula production unit - 1 production sheet for the formula production unit - 1 structured draft sheet if you like to take your notes manually during the creation process - Examples of technical documents: technical data sheet, safety data sheet, IFRA certificate, Allergen certificate which will be seen in detail during the course so that you fully understand each piece of information - You will learn how to set-up the organisation of your perfume organ : from selecting the natural essences to the right suppliers.

Length of the course: 4 weeks
The course includes International Perfume Foundation (IPF) Certificate and it completes the fundamental courses of French Natural Perfumery and Perfumotherapist.
The Logistics
- Every Monday you will receive 1 module and documents via Wetransfer
- After each session, you fill out the assessment of the week. A final assessment is mailed out at the end of the program.
- A Facebook group is available for students to share their experiences. There is no obligation to be part of the student lounge, but it is there if you wish
- Once your final exam is complete and the score validated by Françoise Rapp, you will receive the certificate of completion in the post, signed by International Perfume Foundation. This letter is the key, which allows you to be part of a great network of highly skilled and valuable international professionals.
- Remember, Françoise Rapp is available at any time throughout the process to answer questions and concerns you may have via zoom or mail.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be received in writing no later than two weeks before the start date of the course to be eligible for a refund, less a 10% cancellation fee. Cancellations received less than two weeks prior to the start date of the course, but 72 hours before the start of the course are eligible for a refund less 20% of the full registration price. Failure to appear at the program with no written cancellation 72 hours prior to the program will result in complete forfeiture of the registration fee. Registrations are non-transferable. Cancellation requests must be received in writing by email to contact@francoise-rapp.com and Françoise will reply with a written acknowledgement.
